Alexandra Carrel is a lawyer with a unique expertise in Innovation and Technology transfer. She graduated in law in 1997 from the Fribourg University and obtained a master in biotechnology law in 2001 from the Versailles University. Her expertise in French law and Swiss law, as well as her knowledge in US law, allow her to intervene in complex international operations. After four years as General Counsel and Secretary General of Inserm Transfert, Alexandra Carrel founded her own Geneva and Paris based law firm in 2014 focused on innovation and technology transfer. Alexandra Carrel has been a member of several international law firms in Paris, including Coudert Brothers LLP (2001-2005) and Dechert LLP (2005-2010), where she represented multinational clients in complex commercial disputes as well as in general commercial, industrial risk and merger-acquisition matters.
